Creating Covid-19 safe work zones
Let’s be upfront - the last few months have been plagued with uncertainty and filled with restrictions that have created new challenges for business. Here at DM Recruitment we have been in the fortunate position to have continually operated at near full capacity during lockdown.
That in part has been down to our focus on providing temporary recruitment within the food and waste sectors, which have remained in operation, and in our flexibility to change. During April and May we started offering our services at cost price to give support to local businesses. Then we made an investment in software to take our temps’ application process online so we could work around social distancing measures. Most recently we have invested in state of the art technology that can provide clean, Covid-19 safe work zones for our clients in the food sector, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
Imagine this. Your workers arrive on site, a thermal imaging recognition camera verifies their identity and takes their temperature whilst dispensing hand sanitiser that gives them 24 hour protection – all within a couple of seconds. Their attendance on site is automatically recorded, and if all is well the security door opens to them. If their identity is not verified or their temperature is not in range, the door will not open - it will be flagged to the site manager (and to our system) and that worker will be taken off site to isolate if necessary.
Inside the workspace, forensic style cleaning equipment can be used to detect viruses and bacteria on surfaces using a specialist torch and goggles. We can also provide cleaning substance that offers 30 days of protection.
This is a new level of infection control needed for a new era of business – and here at DM Recruitment we want to go that extra mile to provide solutions for our clients to ensure they can make it work – without any of the new hurdles holding them back.
